Here’s the thing most women never get told:
Autoimmune issues don’t usually show up with big flashing warning signs.
They whisper.
They hint.
They create patterns long before they create “problems.”

 

And sometimes, labs aren’t showing you what’s wrong — they’re showing you what’s brewing.

 

Autoimmune patterns are like puzzle pieces. One piece doesn’t tell you much. But when you start layering inflammation markers, antibodies, nutrient levels, thyroid patterns, and symptoms… suddenly the picture gets a lot clearer.

Thyroid Labs: One of the Most Clear (and Missed) Autoimmune Signals

Thyroid issues are often autoimmune long before they cause low or high thyroid numbers.
And most women are never tested.

 

TPO & TgAB (Thyroid Antibodies)

These are your early-warning lights.

  • High TPO → Hashimoto’s pattern

  • High TgAB → Hashimoto’s OR Graves pattern

  • Both elevated? The immune system has been involved for a while.

You can have perfectly “normal” TSH, Free T4, and Free T3 — and still have thyroid antibodies quietly attacking your thyroid cells.

 

This is one of the most common hidden autoimmune signals I see in women.

 

ANA (Antinuclear Antibodies): The Big Red Flag (But Not a Diagnosis)

ANA is not a diagnosis — it’s a compass.
A positive result means:

  • Sjögren’s

  • Scleroderma

  • Raynaud’s
