— Welcome, I'm Rebecca
About me
I am a registered nurse, health coach, and mom.
I don’t remember a time in my life when I wasn’t struggling with my weight. For so long, I let that struggle define me. I tried every diet—even underwent weight loss surgery—yet nothing truly worked. I felt like a hypocrite educating patients on nutrition and exercise when I couldn’t get a handle on my own health.
Everything shifted when I became a mother.
Suddenly, I saw my relationship with food and my body in a new light. I realized that if I didn’t change my mindset, I might unintentionally pass down the same negative beliefs and patterns to my children. I didn’t want them to grow up thinking their worth was tied to their weight, or that food was something to fear or feel guilty about.
So I started asking deeper questions. Why does this work for some people but not for others? Why do we label foods as “good” or “bad”? Why did this feel so much harder for me?
That curiosity led me down a path of learning—not just about nutrition and body physiology, but also about mindset, beliefs, and self-compassion. I finally began to understand the emotional and mental blocks that were holding me back. Once I started reframing those beliefs, I was able to start losing weight in a way that felt aligned, not forced.
Now, I want to share what I’ve learned with others. I’m still a work in progress and have my own struggles, but I no longer feel ruled by the food noise. I know how to shift my thinking and focus on being just a little better than I was yesterday.
My Experience
I’m a bachelor-prepared Registered Nurse (RN, BSN) with 10 years of bedside experience and 3 years in nursing management. Throughout my career, my favorite part of nursing has always been patient education. I love teaching people how their bodies work and how to take care of them with compassion and clarity.
As a nurse health coach, I combine my clinical experience with a heart for mindset work to help others feel informed, empowered, and supported in their wellness journey—whether that’s managing chronic conditions or redefining what health looks like on their own terms.
